    Why is there a black square around that window? Bad shadow or just a video/xorg issue?

    Shadow for that theme is bogus. The april fools joke of kubuntu-default-settings was just a hack to the slim-glow theme. all that was done though is they copied in the widget backgrounds for the fluffy bunny theme. When it is running the slim-glow theme it looks fine though. If I were to run the fluffy bunny theme, then that shadow would look OK…not a bug, just a cheap hack in order to put the fluffy images on everyones KDE 4 desktop who is running Hardy.
