Happy late Turkey day for those of you in the US. Man I ate to much. Mom made a new sweet potato pie casserole that was out of this world.

I spent some time today working on getting some Debian packaging done and finished up one of my favorite styles for KDE 4, Skulpture. After wrestling with pbuilder and a sid build, thanks to a borked mirror, I finally uploaded the package. Once it is up there, I will request a sync for Jaunty, just because I love this style! Oh, I also learned, a typo can lead to one hell of a headache with this package. Note to self, it is kdebase-workspace-dev, not kde-workspace-dev. How I missed that one I will never know.

I played around on Last.fm today trying to get some new friends who don’t listen to Michael Jackson and some other music that I didn’t enjoy. The whole “What’s my neighbor listening to” rocks. I found some new great bands out there due to this in Amarok. I honestly thing that Last.fm is about the only useful web 2.0 app that I use, well next to Linked In that is.

We are all but a week away from my trip to UDS in California. As it stands, I fly out of Chicago Midway Airport (eww) at 2:00 PM Chicago time, or Central Standard Time and arrive at San Francisco at 4:55 San Fran time. So if any of you going to UDS happens to be on my flight, Flight 833 on Southwest Scarelines, let me know. Also, looking for a cabmate there or who will be in the airport at about 5pm next week. Let me know so we can hook up and head to the party arena, err I mean the UDS staging area Can’t wait to meet you rockstars next week!
